Privacy and data

TEC-law only processes personal data for the following purposes:

1. To render legal services.
2. To comply with applicable legal and regulatory (know-your-client) obligations.
3. For marketing and business development activities.

TEC-law has possession of your personal data because (i) you provided the data to us, (ii) the data has been provided to us by another advisor you engaged or (iii) because it was publicly retrievable (e.g. from your website or from the Trade Register of the Chamber of Commerce).

Complaints procedure

The seasoned lawyers of TEC-law always strive to render high-quality services. In the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with the performance, or with an invoice that TEC-law has sent to you, we ask you to inform us of your complaint. Your complaint will be handled in accordance with TEC-law’s complaint settlement procedure (klachtenregeling) that can be downloaded (pdf-format) [here].

Third party escrow account

TEC-law renders no escrow services and is not making use of a third-party account (derdengeldenrekening). TEC-law accepts no cash payments.

Insurance

TEC-law has taken out adequate professional indemnity insurance. Clients may obtain more information on the insurance policy via contact@TEC-law.nl
